Of all the heavenly bodies, I love stars most of all. In a universe that seems to be ever expanding, they appear to be infinite in number. But while I have loved those twinkling specks of light since childhood, only recently have I become aware of their counterpart in the earth itself. While the stars, however beautiful, are too fiery to nourish life, the ground you and I stand on is home to a world within our world. Therein, as everywhere in nature, I see the handiwork of God.
